Ingredients

  • 12 ounces of organic soft tofu
  • 3-4 prawns, head, shells removed 
  • 4 ounces enoki mushrooms stem removed 
  • 2 shiitake mushrooms stem removed and thinly sliced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 stalk green onion, thinly sliced
  • Black Pepper
  • Sesame oil
  • 2 cups fish or vegetable broth
  • Dried kelp
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • 4 cloves of garlic

Instructions

  1. Sauté chilli oil, chilli powder, and garlic in a heated pot for 1 min.
  2. Quickly coat shrimp with chilli sauce, and add fish and soy sauce.
  3. Pour in dried kelp and your choice of broth, and bring to a rapid boil (2-3 mins).
  4. Add tofu, mushrooms, and egg, and cook for 2-3 mins. Season with salt if needed.
  5. Garnish with green onion, black pepper, and sesame oil. Serve hot with Korean rice and banchan (side dishes).
