Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups milk, dairy or non-dairy
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 banana
  • A few raspberries
  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup or honey (optional, to sweeten)
  • 1 tablespoon of chia seed
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, add oats, milk, water, honey, salt, and vanilla. Stir well and heat over medium heat.
  2. Bring mixture to a simmer, and continue to for 5 minutes, stirring often.
  3. Divide into serving bowls and sprinkle some cinnamon, add chopped walnuts and banana.
