Warming Winter Smoothie

Warming metabolism boosting Key3 Smoothie with enough protein, fiber, fat to keep you full and energized.

You guys know that I’m all about the simple recipes with minimal ingredients. However, this list is a bit longer since it has added ingredients spices for warmth and flavor. You don’t have to add all of them! It will still turn out yummy.

Ingredients

2 scoops vanilla protein powder

1 tbsp hemp seeds

1 tbsp almond butter

1 small carrot chopped

1/4 cup sliced cauliflower (frozen) or zucchini (frozen)

3/4 – 1 cup unsweetened nut milk (coconut, cashew, almond, or flax)

1 tbsp peeled, minced fresh ginger (or some ginger powder)

1/4 tsp ground turmeric (or sub 4x the amount fresh turmeric)

1/8 tsp ground cinnamon

optional: 1 pinch black pepper (to increase bioavailability of turmeric)

Instructions

blend together and enjoy!

can top with cacao nibs if you want for an added crunch!

if you prefer it to be colder, then can use frozen 1/2 banana
